The STALEKS PRO EXPERT blue carbide corn bit is a solid-metal instrument with medium abrasiveness, featuring a straight-cross and cross-cut pattern across its working surface. Like all carbide attachments, it removes material in clean shavings instead of dust, providing excellent visibility and precision.
The corn shape makes this bit a versatile choice for correcting both natural and artificial nails, preparing the nail plate for extensions, and efficiently removing gel polish and other durable coatings. It leaves a smooth, even surface after material removal. In pedicure and podology settings, it is equally effective at treating calluses, corns, and thickened keratinised skin, as well as nails affected by onychomycosis.
With its 4 x 14 mm dimensions and blue (medium) grit band, this bit quickly removes gel polish coatings while remaining gentle enough for controlled work. Guide it steadily along the nail edge — avoid sudden movements or prolonged pressure on any single area to achieve the best results.
Maximum allowable rotation speed is 18,000 RPM. Recommended operating speeds: natural nails and skin — 5,000-10,000 RPM for filing, thinning, and polishing; 10,000-15,000 RPM for cuticle work and lateral fold refinement. For artificial nails — 15,000-20,000 RPM for thickness reduction, gel removal, and shaping. Adhering to these guidelines helps prevent overheating and protects the client.
